You will be coached through a process of self-exploration that can assist you in gaining a deeper understanding of emotional/mental patterns and their physical expression in your body. Powerful on its own, SYT is a wonderfully supportive adjunct to regular yoga practice and other bodywork where deep tension release is desired.

A note about Yoga Therapy/Embodyment.   This work, like yoga classes, is most effective when done in a series.   A six session series received over 6 weeks or less can take a student/client significantly further in their body/mind/spirit than an equal number of yoga classes due to the highly effective nature of Svaroopa Yoga Therapy. With each session, the client’s body/mind learns to integrate the benefits more effectively.   The sessions can be done further apart: however, once a week is recommended, until the client has had a series of sessions and has learned how to integrate and maintain the benefits.   The length of time for this “learning to integrate” can vary from person to person, but generally after 2-4 sessions, especially if the person has a regular Svaroopa yoga practice, clients are able to achieve and retain significant and noticeable changes in their body/minds.

Fees:

A one hour private session is - $75

6 session series paid in advance (6th session is 1/2 price = $415 for 6)
